- - Sunday, October 12 Sunday.... Caution: Im rambling the whole way.... I think we do use up the whole month to have Hari Raya Open Houses.. which is good.. spread it out through the whole month.. hehehe... Everyone is still in a festive mood... Sundays are usually good days for people in KB or Tutong to have open houses as people from Bandar can actually go.. and not worry about time constraints or yang sewaktu denganya.. hehehe.. Which is what I did today... just got back from KB and I tell you.. the traffic was... panjang and banyak cars lah! But i felt like it didn't take that long to reach Bandar as it was driving to KB this morning... or maybe because on the way back to Bandar.. half of the time, I was asleep! hahaha.. But seriously.. if you think about it... going to KB feels long and you get restless, but then driving back to Bandar doesnt take you that long. It's the same with plane rides... I remember the flights to Brisbane (during uni years) was so eventful and long. Whereas, the flight back to Brunei was much shorter... Maybe the excitement of reaching your destination makes the long trip shorter.. but then I like going down to KB.. hmm.. what am I trying to say here also Im not sure.. hahaha... I sound confused.. - - Friday, October 10 Good Luck... Wishing my brother all the best and hope he does well in the competition... im so proud of him! You can read it here. Yes.. I cant help but gloat... hehehe... On to other things.. I was running out of things to watch.. so while rummaging through my dvd's.. I forgot I had Dharma & Greg.. so thats what Im watching now.. and suprisingly, its still funny! - - Wednesday, October 1 You Should Love... I just finished watching 'On Air', kdrama recommended by her. Its been awhile since ive watched a good kdrama and well... baik tah meliat! Its so good that the last two episodes, i literally sat so close to the t.v... because it was that good! Or im just crazy like that... hehehe... But seriously, I urge you kdrama lovers to watch it.. or if you have watch it.. come to the house and we can talk about it! hahahaha.. silly jat! Its been a stressful week.. not because of work but trying to nurse myself back from this never ending flu and sniffles. Alhamdullilah, its alright now.. but i have to pace myself when hari raya comes.. I cant be drinking fizzy drinks the whole time... in moderation saja. But pacing myself to eat kueh 'tapak kuda'.. i dont think so! On to other things... the continuation of my weird habits list.. 3. You know how you can see how many you have listened to a song on iTunes.. well, I cant have that on my iTunes. I usually just play it once or twice just for the sake of having it being played... so it won't feel left out! I know i know.. crazy! 4. I love Red Bean Buns and when i eat it, it has to be from the outside and i work myself around it. So i can savour the red bean inside more I better stop now.. Im just excited that its raya and i think the mood for raya has just kicked in... I'd like to wish all Muslim readers 'Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri... Maaf Zahir Batin'. Wishing you all a good raya.. - - Monday, September 22 Slacking Off.. Its already the third week of ramadhan and next week, inshaAllah is the sigthing for the new moon.. usually around this time, i'm quite excited as raya / eid is coming but this year.. the excitement hasn't kicked in yet.. i guess im still in the mood for ramadhan and i'm truly going to miss it when ramadhan ends... I think im coming down with something.. i've got the sniffles and my throat is s-c-r-a-t-c-h-y... and a week before raya lagi.. I just hope it wont drag on until raya.. inda karang bisai... hehehe.. me with my red nose on the 1st day of raya.. and also, i cant drink anything fizzy due to my scratchy throat.. boring jua tu.. hehehe.. pasal it wont be raya without Miranda Strawberry! hahahaha... Oh! I got tagged by her... i have to 'State 15 weird things/habits/little known facts about myself'. I think i have more than 15 but then jangantah... hahaha... Like Deeya, ill state bit by bit.. 1. I dont like orange.. the colour, the smell of oranges even the word doesnt do anything good for me.. 2. When watching korean, japanese or anything that i need to read the subtitles.. i'll always have the volume up loud. I know i cant understand what they're saying.. but it makes watching it so much better! hehe.. I'll start with those two dulu.. i'll continue on my next post.. I cant think awal anie.. Before i forget.. what do you people think of this new car model from VW? Its called a Tiguan.. some people say it looks like any normal 4WD.. macam Hyundai Touscan ada jua.. - - Monday, August 25 Back from.... Its been 2 years and a bit since I've been back here and it just feels like i never left... Almost everything hasn't changed.. the people, the atmosphere.. even the air itself.. but i've changed over the 2 years... I wasn't who I was then.. but this place will always be a part of me.. I'll always miss my life there.. but everyone has to move on and at least i'll have my good and bad memories when i think of Brisbane.. The place taught me to be independent and do things for myself and not depending too much on others... I wont be where I am if not for my experiences there; both good and bad... - - Wednesday, July 30 Birthdayss... Spent the afternoon gushing over Basyirah's 1st birthday party... and at some levels, it was more fun than being at my own age groups' birthday party... Even though the birthday girl wont even remember what happened today but at least the adults had fun! All that sugar, games, goodie bags and dancing with the mascot is what a childs' birthday party should have... Oh! and cake! Birthday without cake is no birthday at all.. thats what i think... and i wouldnt mind having this cake for my own baby girl nanti.. Isn't it purdyyy?? Its too pretty to eat... I hope when I do have a child, there'll be someone able enough to make the cake here... hehehehhe....so bakeries in Brunei, start practicing! hehehe... - - Tuesday, July 29 Random Musings... I know its a couple of days late.. but still... congratulations to Faiz Damit on his winnings! We are so very proud of you and keep up the good work... Dont forget to engrave your new watch ... hehehhe.. You can check out the articles here and here... On to other things.. I've been meaning to post these up but didnt had a chance.. and not because of my so hectice schedule but because ive been lazy!! hahahaa... Its my feeble attempt to be creative and paint something.. i think it looks alright for a beginner, but what do you think? The people at batik shop in Terengganu makes it looks so easy.. but i tell you, my work area really looked like a child has just had a tantrum.. paint was everywhere.. hahaha... but at least, i tried right?
